Marie L. Napoliello, ESQ.
Senior Counsel
With more than 41 years of experience in family law practice, Marie is widely regarded as a leading legal professional in the field. In the past, Attorney Napoliello has worked side-by-side with the Honorable John E. Selser, J.S.C. and other matrimonial lawyers who are considered leaders throughout New Jersey. She has also spent time as a partner at November, Nunnink & Napoliello in Glen Rock.
Marie has a background in counseling psychology, which has given her an insight into emotional struggles and concerns children and parents alike face during a divorce and difficult child custody battle. This unique history paired with her legal experience allows her to more easily reach amicable solutions that protect our clients’ best interests but also do not heavily disrupt their personal lives. Further improving her mediation abilities, she has also gained Certification by the New Jersey Supreme Court as both a Parent Coordinator and an Economic Family Mediator.
It was at St. Peter’s College that Marie served as a counseling psychologist. Students that struggled with mental health problems and emotional distress came to her for assistance and guidance; group and individual counseling was often made available to the students in need. She was also in charge of starting programs that complied with the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and Title IX, which is the federal law that bans sexual discrimination in places of higher education and establishes penalties in response to such discrimination. Some of her free time was also devoted to different forms of psychology tests to further the field in hopes of improving client or patient care. Furthermore, Attorney Napoliello elected to teach students at the college level and create various informative articles to be published in local newspapers and distributions.
