Eilish M. McLoughlin, Esq. has over 18 years of experience in the practice of law, with a background in both private practice and as in-house counsel. In private practice, Ms. McLoughlin has worked as an Associate under a former New Jersey Governor and New Jersey Attorney General.

In the matrimonial arena, Eilish has over fourteen (14) years of experience litigating issues including, but not limited to, child support, alimony, equitable distribution, custody and relocation, emancipation, and modification and enforcement of support. From the filing of the Complaint for Divorce through post-judgment issues, Ms. McLoughlin gives each matrimonial matter the unique attention that it deserves to obtain optimal results for her clients and their children.

Prior to joining the firm, Eilish worked for seven (7) years as a Senior Litigation Associate at the Law Offices of Charles Shaw, Esq., focusing on family law, complex civil litigation, and criminal defense. Ms. McLoughlin also served two (2) years as Assistant General Counsel in New York for AIG, Inc., where she negotiated corporate contracts with national retailers, professional service providers, hotels, and airline companies for the benefit of over three thousand (3,000) subsidiaries.

Eilish has led a number of victorious appeals, including:

  • Viking Industrial Security et al. v. Liberty Mutual Ins. Co. et al., wherein Ms. McLoughlin vacated in excess of $2,500,000.00 in judgments against her clients
  • Fisher v. Allstate Insurance Co., wherein the firm successfully vacated a $19,000,000.00 Judgment against its client

Ms. McLoughlin is admitted to practice law in New Jersey and New York. In 2012, Ms. McLoughlin was appointed by the New Jersey Supreme Court for a three (3) year term as a Member of the Committee on Character. Eilish attended Rutgers Law School-Newark, graduating in 2004. Ms. McLoughlin also has a Bachelor of Arts Degree and a Masters in Public Administration from the University of North Florida, where she was regularly on the honor roll.
