Allison R. Ramelson-Kert, Esq. is a passionate advocate for families navigating some of life’s most challenging transitions. Admitted to practice in New Jersey, the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, and Massachusetts, she brings both legal precision and heartfelt compassion to every case she handles.
Allison’s path to Family Law is built on a rich academic and professional foundation that spans three countries and multiple disciplines. She earned her Juris Doctor from Vermont Law School, a Master of Arts in Environmental Studies from Tel Aviv University, and a Bachelor of Science majoring in Biology and minoring in Sustainability from Concordia University located in Montreal, Canada. Her international academic background has provided her with a broad understanding of diverse cultures, values, legal perspectives, and cross border issues — an asset that enhances her inclusive and culturally informed approach to Family Law.
Before joining Moskowitz Law Group LLC, Allison served as a Law Clerk in New Jersey Superior Court’s Family Law Division, Middlesex Vicinage, for the Honorable Gerald J. Council, J.S.C., gaining invaluable insight into the judicial process and the intricacies of Family Law. She then expanded her legal experience to include Civil Litigation, where she handled matters involving personal injury, workers compensation, contracts, real estate, and landlord-tenant disputes.
Allison’s current practice is devoted exclusively to Family Law, which encompasses a wide range of matters including but not limited to divorce, child custody, parenting time, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, name changes, domestic violence, and cases involving the Division of Child Protection and Permanency (DCP&P). Allison approaches each case with a deep sense of responsibility and care, recognizing the emotional and legal complexities that families face during these pivotal moments.
